Earth is covered mostly by water and is oftene compared to a majestic blue marble !
Water itself is not blue , but it gives off blue light upon reflection !
Water covers over 71 % of the earth surface .
96.5 % is contained as salt water and only 3.4 % as freshwater (69 % of it is iced)
The question is :
How much of our planet is made of freshwater ?!
